He sat down with me and actually listened to what I was saying. Later he asked what it was that he could do for me. What was it that I wanted to do and what was it that I needed my investment to do for me? There were no pressure sales gimmicks; in fact there was no pressure at all. He listened to what I had to say, and then he made some suggestions showing different ways around the obstacles that had been put up by red tape and government departments. He showed me what he would do in my situation and what would suit my needs and circumstances. He then asked if l had any questions or needed anything explaining in language that I could understand. He left me with much to think about, his card and number and told me to call if I needed anything or just to let him know what I had decided to do. He told me to take my time, to make sure I understood all the information and that then and only then would we take the next step.

The most important thing that I have found about Don is the fact that he is honest.

This is a rare trait these days. He genuinely cares about the people that he helps. It doesn't matter how small or large the investment may be, he treats everyone the same, with dignity, compassion, understanding, no pressure and most importantly with honesty.

For my family there is no other choice to make. Don will hopefully be there not only for me in the times to come but also for my children when they need help. If you value honesty and integrity, then I can guarantee that Don McLeod is the man for you too.

Don, we have moved through some interesting and trying times, recently.

Helen and I have always trusted your expertise and judgment, when it came to the control of our Superannuation and various Insurance needs. Your knowledge of the industry and at times your insistence, have guided us through the minefield of “our financial situation”. Sometimes it was difficult to see the benefits over the expense, but it always came down to our trust in your judgment and you have never failed us.

I’m now approaching that dreaded, or is it, divine time, as retirement looms. Now is when all the hard work and hard decisions, are laid on the line. Both Helen and myself, are extremely glad that we were fortunate enough to have been introduced, through a friend, to you personally and in a business sense.

For the last 20 years we have shared more than just finance, Helen and I have watched yourself and Dee raise your family, progress your business through some trying times and always be available when we had questions and worries.

Lastly, Don, thank you and your Staff, for all your hard work, on our behalf. I wanted to let you know that our relationship, over the years, has been appreciated by Helen and myself. We wish you and yours, good health and happiness for the future.
